TeacherActive is recruiting for a Nursery Assistant in Merthyr for a Welsh-medium Cylch Meithrin. The role is temporary, part-time, mornings only, supporting children aged 2-4 years.

The ideal candidate has a Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification, welcomes Welsh language basics, and brings a caring, enthusiastic approach with good teamwork. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process.

The setting is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant who can support children throughout their early years development.

The Cylch Meithrin is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a temporary, part-time basis, working mornings only with children aged 2-4 years. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children's learning, play and development while helping to maintain a safe, engaging and positive environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Experience working with children aged 2-4 years
• Basic Welsh language skills
• Knowledge of early years development
• A caring and enthusiastic approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
