Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Assistant for a thriving primary school with nursery provision in the United Kingdom. The role supports nursery children under the EYFS framework, plans and delivers engaging activities, and helps progress development while maintaining safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Duties as a Level 3 Nursery Assistant:

• Support children within the nursery setting in line with the EYFS Framework
• Help plan and deliver engaging learning and play activities
• Support children's communication, social, emotional, and physical development

• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Support daily routines, mealtimes, and outdoor learning activities
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times

Ideal Level 3 Nursery Assistant:

• Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) is essential
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Knowledge of child development and early learning practices
• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
