Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Assistant for a Bristol setting. The role is available full or part time, with hours of 8:00am–3:00pm or 8:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will support EYFS activities and help children build confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 Childcare, has nursery experience, and demonstrates a warm, patient approach along with strong communication skills. DBS update service or willingness to apply is required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare qualification or above (essential).
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Warm, patient and encouraging approach.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Support children’s social, emotional and personal development.
• Assist with daily routines, meal times, nappy changes and transitions.
• Work as part of a team to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
• Contribute to observations and assessments.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Are you a qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistant looking for your next role? We are working with a nursery in Bristol who are looking for a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their team.
