Arrow Test Limited is offering an Apprenticeship as Construction Materials Technician (Level 3) based in Gateshead. This hands‑on role combines laboratory and site work with a structured Level 3 apprenticeship.

You will assist with testing asphalt, aggregates and concrete on highways projects, learn to operate equipment, record results, and comply with safety standards. Candidates must be 18+, eligible to work in the UK, and able to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or over
• Not be in full‑time education
• Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
• Have the right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Assist with materials testing on highways and civil engineering projects.
• Undertake asphalt density measurements and sampling.
• Carry out surface regularity testing and site investigations.
• Record test results accurately and communicate findings to supervisors.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
