Solventum is seeking a Marketing Assistant/Co-ordinator Apprentice in the UK. This hybrid role supports the UK&I marketing team to deliver objectives and manage core brand activities, including campaigns, analytics, and SharePoint/website updates.
You will work closely with teams to gather market data, support campaigns, and learn through online training and on-the-job mentoring, with potential for full-time progression upon successful completion.

Salary: £8.00 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds
Working Week: (Hybrid working 2 days in the office) Monday to Friday – 9.00 – 5.00pm (1 hour lunch break)

Marketing Assistant/ Co-ordinator Apprenticeship

Manage key core portfolios to ensure delivery of objectives and sales targets working closely with Business Partners to identify strategy and focus
Keep portfolio records and assist with product updates, minor line extensions, and packaging or labelling changes with regulatory and supply teams.
Assist in gathering market feedback, sales input, and competitor intelligence to inform portfolio decisions.
2. Marketing support for Med/Surg Business
Support with marketing campaign delivery through collation, mailings and trial support to ensure effective campaign management.
Support the sales team with marketing tools, presentations, product literature, and digital assets.
Coordinate approvals and updates for sales materials via internal systems.
Support with cross functional business projects.
3. Sharepoint sites, Analytics & Reporting
Manage UK&I Hub for the marketing team. Liaise with marketers to ensure content is live and updated, as and when required.
Assist with updates to the UK&I Solventum website as when required.
Support basic reporting on campaign performance and portfolio activity.
Develop a plan to incorporate AI technology into marketing processes.
A Levels, or BTEC Level 3 National Diploma/ Extended Diploma, or Equivalent vocational qualification
Some experience gained through work, placement, internship, temporary role, or part time employment in a marketing, commercial, administrative, or customer facing environment.
Working to deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
Experience working as part of a team in a structured, professional environment.
Exposure to medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences is desirable.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as occasional travel may be required e.g. sales visits and attendance at key conferences.
As an apprentice, you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme. This will typically include:
