Skern Training in Wolverhampton is seeking a Marketing Apprentice focused on content creation. You will develop content for websites, blogs and social media while learning the fundamentals of multi-channel marketing through a Level 3 apprenticeship.
You will work with our marketing team to plan campaigns, create assets and measure impact, building a strong portfolio of work across channels and formats.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll create content and creative assets for both West Midlands Media and our clients. You’ll work alongside our web development, design, project management and digital marketing teams, learning how content supports real business goals like enquiries, sales and brand awareness.
This role is content-led (creating and repurposing content across channels), while you learn the marketing essentials through structured apprenticeship training and day-to-day support.
Content creation (core focus)
We’re looking for someone who is:
A portfolio of content/creative work (this can be Instagram/TikTok, a PDF, Behance/Dribbble, a Google Drive folder, or examples of design/video/content you’ve created)
GCSE Maths and English - Grade C/4 or above
You will be completing the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship. As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you will help plan, create and implement impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, you’ll contribute to the implementation of marketing strategy and plans, supporting day-to-day marketing activities across multiple platforms, channels and systems.
Training is delivered via a blended learning model, which may include online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects and one-to-one support.

This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role with regular feedback and deadlines. You’ll need to be able to travel to our Wolverhampton office Monday–Friday (close to train/bus links).A portfolio of content/creative work is required as part of the application.
Across the apprenticeship, you’ll build a strong portfolio of work (web, social and short‑form video), develop your confidence with modern tools (including AI‑assisted tools where appropriate), and learn the core principles of multi‑channel marketing through structured training and day‑to‑day support.The possibility of full‑time employment on successful completion of your Apprenticeship is available, subject to performance and business needs.
