New Directions are currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in the Swansea area with preschool ages.

It is essential that you have a Level 3 qualification in a Childcare and/or Play work subject to be considered for this role.

As a Level 3 LSA, you will need:

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• DBSregistered on the update service OR you will need to be prepared to complete a new DBS
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
• Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
• Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
