Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school in Nelson.

You will support young learners during a crucial stage of development, assisting the EYFS teacher with delivery of activities and helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate has a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or childcare, experience in EYFS, and a patient, enthusiastic approach.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a related field.
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
• A good understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our youngest learners during a crucial stage of their development, helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.

Working alongside the EYFS Teacher, you will support children in their learning, play, and personal development while promoting positive relationships and ensuring high standards of care and education.

Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Nelson
Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: Monday 2nd November 2026
