Job summary

Smile Education is seeking a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to support Hull schools and Early Years settings. The role offers flexible supply work, weekly bookings or longer-term opportunities, with a daily PAYE rate of £95–£100.

Applicants should have UK-recognised Level 3 EYFS qualification, experience in Early Years settings, and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. DBS and safeguarding checks are part of the process.

What we're looking for:

• A UK-recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification, ideally recognised as full and relevant for EYFS staff-to-child ratios.
• Previous experience working in Nursery, Reception or Early Years settings.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Confidence supporting learning through play, communication, independence and early development.
• A caring, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Flexibility to work across different school settings in Hull.

Essential requirements:

• Relevant UK-recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Proven experience in an Early Years setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced child workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
• Satisfactory professional references and safeguarding checks.
