Job summary

Smile Education is recruiting Level 3 EYFS Practitioners to support nursery, reception and Early Years settings across Grimsby and the surrounding areas. You will deliver play-based learning, support language and development, and work across environments to create inclusive learning experiences.

Opportunities include flexible supply work, regular weekly bookings or longer-term placements, with competitive PAYE rates of £95–£100 per day. Join a dedicated consultant and access local schools.

Qualifications

• UK-recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.

What we’re looking for:

• A UK‐recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification, ideally recognised as full and relevant for EYFS staff‐to‐child ratios.
• Previous experience working in Nursery, Reception or Early Years settings.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Confidence supporting children’s communication, learning and emotional wellbeing.
• Experience creating safe, engaging and inclusive learning environments.
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach.
• Flexibility to work across different primary schools and Early Years settings.

Essential requirements:

• UK‐recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Proven experience working with children in Early Years.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced child workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
• Satisfactory professional references and completion of safeguarding checks.
