Job summary

Inspire Young Minds in Northampton is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join its welcoming setting from November 2026. The role offers a long-term opportunity and competitive pay dependent on experience.

You will support learning through play, help children develop communication and social skills, and work within a nurturing, child-centred team focussed on safeguarding and development.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a related subject.
• Has previous experience working with children within an early years setting.
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, inclusive, stimulating environment for children.
• Observe and record children's learning and progress.
• Encourage communication, creativity, independence and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support individual needs and adapt activities for participation.
• Assist with daily routines including mealtimes, personal care and sleep.
• Promote positive behaviour and social-emotional skills.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with the team and contribute to the setting.
