Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery in Northumberland. The role offers a long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent, with an emphasis on creating a safe, engaging environment where children can learn and thrive.

You will plan activities, support language development, and help children grow in independence, working as part of a supportive team to meet individual needs in a busy educational setting.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and have fun
• A warm, caring and positive personality
• Plenty of enthusiasm, creativity and energy
• A flexible, proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude
• The ability to work confidently as part of a team

Responsibilities

• You’ll work closely with an experienced nursery team to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.
• You’ll help plan and deliver engaging activities, encourage communication and language development, support growing independence and celebrate children's achievements along the way.
• You’ll support children at different stages of their Early Years journey and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure their individual needs are met
