Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd in London is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for an outstanding nursery school and children's centre. This full-time role runs 8:45am-3:45pm, Monday to Friday, and is a long-term opportunity through August 2027.

You will support children's learning in line with the EYFS, deliver play-based experiences, and observe progress while building strong relationships with families and colleagues. The setting has Outstanding Ofsted and caters for 2–5 years.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years' nursery experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Knowledge of child development and early learning practices.
• Enthusiastic, nurturing and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Deliver engaging play-based learning experiences.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and communication development.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Contribute to planning and implementing exciting learning opportunities.
• Promote safeguarding and children's welfare at all times.
