Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Nursery Practitioners for Bromsgrove, offering flexible full-time and part-time roles to suit your availability. You will work across nursery settings, providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 within the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential.
• Previous experience working in a nursery, nursery school or private day nursery.
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, welcoming, stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel secure and encouraged to learn.
• Plan and participate in engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
• Recognise and respond to children’s individual needs, interests, abilities and stages of development.
• Encourage children to develop their confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
• Assist with planning and implementing activities that support children’s learning and development.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery and maintain a high standard of care.

Nursery Practitioner - Bromsgrove

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, education and support to children aged 0-5 years.

You will work as part of a dedicated team within a nursery school or private day nursery, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
