Job summary

St Anne Line Catholic Infant School and Nursery in Basildon is seeking a passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our busy nursery for children aged 2–4. You will deliver high quality early years education, collaborate with a warm team, and support children's curiosity daily.

This fixed-term role (8:15am–3:15pm, with potential extension) offers term-time leave, CPD, a hot lunch option, pastoral support, and a competitive salary on Scale 3. Location Wickhay, Basildon, Essex.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above.
• Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification.
• Experience working with children aged 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality early years education to children aged 2-4.
• Plan, implement and assess learning in line with curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
• Participate in CPD and staff meetings.

Education

GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above

Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm. One afternoon may extend to 4:00pm. Part-time may be possible.
