Job summary

Navantia Group in Belfast is seeking a qualified Level 2 Welding Inspector to join their Fabrication Projects team. The successful candidate will perform inspections of welded joints, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards. Qualifications

• Understanding of shipbuilding classification rules and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using IT applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of welded joints before, during, and after welding operations.
• Maintain weld traceability records and inspection logs.
• Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.
• Liaise with welders and supervisors regarding quality concerns.
