Job summary

The Fresh Produce Centre Ltd is seeking a Level 2 Warehouse Operative to join our Kent operation. You will move product and materials, unload and load vehicles, and ensure efficient flow to the packhouse and consolidation areas.

The role requires experience in similar settings, good literacy/numeracy and the ability to work with a scanner system (SAP desirable). Forklift experience and a proactive, coachable attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience in working with a scanner system enabled environment, preferably SAP (desirable).
• Experienced reach and counterbalance forklift truck operator.
• Experienced working in a 'pick to order' high volume operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Move product, packaging and other materials throughout the operation including vehicle unloading, put away and movement to packhouse.
• Move packed product to consolidation/marshalling and vehicle loading.
• Ensure packhouse areas are cleared and returns properly stored; manage waste and recycling as required.
• Carry out pre-shift routine inspections of trucks and report for the next day.
