Job summary

Clarence Recruitment is supporting a welcoming Leicester City secondary school in appointing a motivated Teaching Assistant (Level 2) for an immediate start. You will support students inside and outside the classroom, working with teaching staff to ensure every learner is fully engaged and able to succeed.

The role is term-time only with a full-time contract and daily pay between 95 and 140 GBP, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children or young people in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, flexible and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Support students across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Deliver intervention sessions to small groups and individuals.
• Assist students with additional learning needs to access the curriculum.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, pastoral teams, and parents where appropriate.
• Provide classroom support enabling students to achieve academic and personal goals.
