Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across L.E.A.D Academy Trust primary schools in Sheffield (S12).

Opportunities include flexible supply work and longer placements to suit your availability, with weekly PAYE payments and ongoing recruitment support. Ideal candidates hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience, have experience with children in educational settings, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom and during intervention sessions.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Help create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
• Support children's social, emotional and learning development.
