Ormiston Meadows Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated SEND team on a fixed term basis. We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our highly dedicated SEND team on a fixed term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our close-knit team as a Teaching Assistant (fixed term) in our small, supportive school. What we are looking for:
Duties will include in class support for SEND pupils to give them every opportunity to make expected progress by accessing the whole curriculum. Under the direction of the SENCO and teaching staff prepare individualised and/or differentiating teaching resources for use in class.
We are looking for individuals who have a very flexible and enthusiastic approach to suit the varying and sometimes complex needs of our pupils and be prepared to undertake any associated tasks as required. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator as they will need to liaise with parents and carers in a manner that will support SEND pupils in their learning. We are looking for people who can demonstrate commitment, energy, and drive to join our team and work to provide positive learning experiences for all our students.
