Job summary

Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School seeks two Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils. The roles run 33 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:35pm, on a fixed-term contract for 1 year with immediate start.

Under the supervision of the class teacher and SENDCO, you will promote inclusion, support learning, and help maintain an organised, safe classroom environment. DBS checks and safeguarding are required.

Qualifications

• Must be committed, enthusiastic and flexible to support pupils.
• Support effective teaching and learning under supervision of the class teacher/SENDCO.
• Assist in organising and managing pupils and the classroom.
• Promote inclusion and safeguarding of children.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of the class teacher to support teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Provide general support to the class teacher in pupil and classroom organisation.
• Create and maintain a positive, orderly learning environment and manage equipment.
