Job summary

Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting a Mainstream Secondary School in Leigh. This role involves providing 1:1 support in the mornings to a pupil with Special Educational Needs at primary age level.

In the afternoons, you will support other students with EHCPs on 1:1 and in small groups, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.15pm, with the school rated Good by Ofsted and noted for a caring, creative culture and

Qualifications

• Hold a Teaching and Learning Level 2 or 3 qualification OR evidence of recent classroom experience.
• Be flexible, adaptable and work on own initiative.
• Be patient, calm and kind order to form positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Have a clear and current DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Confidently manage challenging behaviours.
• Have SEND Experience.

This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support in the mornings to a pupil with Special Educational Needs who is working at primary age level. In the afternoons, you will support other students with EHCPs on both a 1:1 basis and in small group settings, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential.

Working hours- Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.15pm.
