Job summary

Academics are currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work with partner schools across Rotherham. This is a temporary, flexible role offering exposure to a range of local schools with exclusive vacancies not available elsewhere.

You will support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, assist the class teacher with lessons and classroom management, and provide additional support to pupils with SEN or learning needs to create an inclusive learning environment across EYFS to KS2.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (ideally Cache or NVQ).
• Recent experience in a school or educational setting (ideally 6 months or more).
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
• Flexibility to work in different schools across Rotherham.
