is seeking to appoint a

SEND Teaching Assistant

Fixed-term for 12 months

Payscale: Scale 2, Point 5(FTE £24,790 per year, approx. £16,800 pro-rata)

30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Commencing: as soon as possible

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

Have experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant (experience supporting a small group of SEND pupils is desirable)

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

Be able to work flexibly and professionally

About Role

We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 38 weeks per year.
