Long Term Futures are looking for a reliable and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join one of our fantastic client colleges, specialising in supporting students aged 16-25 with a wide range of complex needs, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning difficulties.

Offering 1:1 and small group support, helping students to access their learning
Encouraging independence both within the classroom and in wider college life
Supporting with differentiated learning tasks, ensuring activities are inclusive and engaging
Assisting students in their emotional, social, and communication development
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and the wider support team to deliver a holistic education
Previous experience supporting young people with SEN needs, ideally in a post-16 setting (desirable but not essential)
A patient, caring, and motivating approach to learning support
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A commitment to encouraging student independence and personal growth
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is a bonus, but not essential - experience and the right mindset are what really matter
