A welcoming and inclusive school in Hyde is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role, running for the full academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You will work closely with classroom teachers and SEND staff to support students' learning, development, and wellbeing—both in class and through small group or 1:1 interventions.
Supporting pupils with their learning across a range of subjects
Delivering small group work or 1:1 interventions, particularly for those needing extra support
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND/SEMH) where required
Location: Hyde, Tameside
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, full academic year
Salary: £89.38 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Requirements: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
