Qualifications

• Expérience dans le soutien des élèves dans une école ou un cadre similaire.
• Expérience de travail avec des enfants ayant des besoins éducatifs spéciaux.
• Doit avoir un DBS actuel ou être prêt à en fournir un.

Responsibilities

• Fournir un soutien général en classe et travailler avec de petits groupes d'élèves.
• Aider à la croissance académique des enfants avec des besoins supplémentaires.
• Travailler à temps plein, du lundi au vendredi, de 8h30 à 15h30.

About the Role

Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Birkenhead that is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support in Year 5. You will be providing general support in the classroom, as well as working with small groups of children with additional needs to support their academic growth.

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting in September and continuing for the academic year.

Person Specification

• Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will be considered
• GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English
• Experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting
• Experience working with children with SEN
• A patient, consistent, and supportive approach
• Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
