Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a large three-form entry academy primary school in Hayes, Hillingdon, to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant from September 2026 for a full-time, long-term role. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in the classroom and help ensure lessons run smoothly.

Qualifications

• To be considered for this role, you should hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with primary-aged children in a school setting.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence working with pupils of varying abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils within whole-class lessons, small groups, and one-to-one
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Supporting pupils who may need additional academic or behavioural support
• Delivering small group interventions under teacher guidance
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and participation in learning
