Smile Education is recruiting for a Level 2 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming East Hull primary academy from September 2026. This role is full-time, term-time only, with daily pay between £95 and £110 depending on experience.

Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a friendly, inclusive primary academy in East Hull, seeking a passionate Level 2 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

The Role

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years learning activities.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Experience working within a UK nursery, preschool or primary school Early Years setting.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
• Ability to provide two years of employment and/or education references, including one relating to working with children. Providing referee details during your registration will help ensure a smooth compliance process and the quickest possible clearance.
• Right to work in the UK.
