Job summary

Smile Education is recruiting for a friendly Hull primary school within the Enquire Learning Trust to fill a Level 3 Teaching Assistant role. You will support teachers across the primary age range and help reinforce learning with individual pupils and small groups.

The role offers competitive daily pay of £95–£110, paid weekly, with September 2026 start and flexible supply, long‑term and permanent opportunities. DBS and two references required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 6 months' experience supporting children in a UK primary setting.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.

The Role

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 6 months' experience supporting children within a UK primary school or educational setting.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
• The ability to provide two years of employment and/or education references, including at least one reference relating to working with children.
• Right to work in the UK.
