Job summary

Morgan Ward NDT Ltd is Europe’s largest on-wing NDT provider, with bases across the UK and Europe. We are expanding and seek experienced L2 NDT Technicians to join the UK team, travel to sites, and contribute to high-precision aviation inspections.

Expect weekends/night work, opportunities for Level 3 progression, and a competitive package including a company vehicle, BUPA, pension, and a discretionary bonus, with an OTE of £60k-£65k.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 NDT methods experience.
• EN 4179 L2 level in PT, UT and ET required (MT/RT bonus).
• Aviation NDT experience from Part 145 organisations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-wing NDT inspections across UK sites.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules.
• Accurate documentation and reporting of findings.

We're interested in speaking to keen individuals with the following skills and experience:

• Possess experience of a minimum of 3 methods, working in accordance with EN 4179 to L2 in PT, UT, ET (additional MT and RT would be a bonus, or even IRT)
• Proven background in aviation NDT from working in a Part 145 organisation and working to aerospace specifications
• Ideally experienced in both line maintenance and heavy maintenance NDT inspections
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills, great attention to detail, and confident skills in accurate paperwork
• Ideally possess knowledge and hands‑on experience of working with a variety of aircraft.
