A leading nursery provider in Botley, near Southampton, is hiring a Qualified Early Years Practitioner. The ideal candidate will have at least a Level 2 Early Years qualification and strong communication skills to foster relationships with parents. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities and ensuring a safe learning environment. Competitive salary of £26,353.60 – £28,059.20 per year, with full-time and part-time options available.

About the Role

We’re currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Qualified Early Years Practitioner who shares our mission to deliver outstanding care and education during the most formative years of a child’s life at our Curdridge setting on the outskirts of Botley.

What You’ll Bring

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS guidelines

  • Communicate children’s progress effectively with families
  • Ensure accurate completion of all company documentation and procedures
  • Work closely with your team to uphold high standards of care and education
Working Hours

Full-time 4 or 5 day week (40 hours week)

Part time - 5 days a week working 11-3pm (20 hours week)

Salary

£26,353.60 – £28,059.20 per year (pro rata, based on 52 weeks) Includes an additional £0.30 per hour weighting payment for Botley staff, recognising the location of the nursery. Subject to terms and conditions.
