Job summary

Lotus Home Care Limited is seeking Health & Social Care Apprentice to deliver person-centred home care and support clients in their own homes. This full-time role includes training to achieve a Level 2 qualification, with a 1 year 6 month duration and mileage reimbursement for client visits.

You will work across teams, liaising with families and professionals, while completing essential safeguarding and safeguarding duties.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, families and professionals.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Patient, compassionate and non-judgemental approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Administer or assist with medication (where trained and authorised).
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
• Record, monitor, and report on health and well-being.
• Support individuals with complex needs such as dementia, learning disabilities, or physical impairments.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, acting promptly to protect vulnerable individuals.
• Travel between clients’ homes (mileage reimbursed).
• Attend training, workshops, and complete off-job learning for your apprenticeship.
