Job summary

Ceredigion County Council is recruiting a Level 2 Care and Support Worker for the Children’s Safe Accommodation Team in Ceredigion. The role involves rota-based day and night shifts to support the service and a wider team including a Registered Manager and Level 3 Care and Support.

The ideal candidate will promote a child-centred approach and have a background in children's residential care or similar provision.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be passionate about promoting a child-centred approach to practice and have a solid history in children's residential care or similar care and support provision.

Responsibilities

• Work on a rota cover including day and night shifts to support the needs of the service.
• Be part of a wider team including a Registered Manager, Assistant Manager and Level 3 Care and Support.
• Assist with safeguarding and DBS requirements as part of recruitment and ongoing duties.
