Cumberland Council is recruiting a Social Worker (Level 2) for the Support and Protect service in Carlisle and Workington. You will conduct assessments, lead child in need and child protection planning, and undertake court work to safeguard children.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with relocation support for qualified candidates and a supportive, collaborative team culture that supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Children and Family services is desirable.
• Ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with families.

Responsabilités

• Complete assessments for children and families within required timescales.
• Lead child in need and child protection planning.
• Complete court work as part of safeguarding procedures.
