Job summary

The Farnley Academy in Leeds is seeking a dedicated Level 1 Teaching Assistant to support students in accessing learning and thriving within a positive, inclusive environment.

Working under teachers, you will help with classroom activities, monitor pupil progress and contribute to wellbeing and safeguarding. The role requires GCSE English and Maths and a genuine commitment to helping every pupil reach their potential. You will also collaborate with colleagues to uphold high teaching standards.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
• Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents, supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, with the ability to support learning across the curriculum.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and ensuring that all students have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
