Worth Recruiting - Property Industry Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lettings Valuer / Assistant Lettings Manager for an independent estate agency serving Redhill, Reigate and Dorking. The role combines valuations, new instructions and business development with day-to-day lettings management.

The successful candidate should be commercially minded, client-facing and able to drive performance while upholding high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential lettings with seniority (Senior Negotiator/Valuer/Assistant Manager).
• Proven ability to perform rental valuations and secure new landlord instructions.
• Strong business development skills with track record of generating new business.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Good understanding of the lettings process and current legislation.

• Carry out rental valuations and secure new landlord instructions.
• Grow the managed lettings portfolio and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords and prospective clients.
• Support day-to-day running and performance of the lettings department.

An opportunity for an experienced Lettings Valuer / Assistant Lettings Manager to join a successful independent estate agency covering the areas of Redhill, Reigate & Dorking: taking a senior role in growing the lettings portfolio and delivering excellent landlord service.

Job Title: Lettings Valuer / Assistant Lettings Manager

Location: Redhill, RH1

Salary: OTE £40,000 per annum

Position: Permanent, Full-Time

The position will combine business development, rental valuations and winning new instructions with supporting the day-to-day management of the lettings department.

The successful candidate will be commercially minded, confident with clients and capable of helping drive performance, maintain standards and support the wider team.

What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Lettings Valuer / Assistant Lettings Manager:

• Carrying out rental valuations and securing new landlord instructions
• Developing new business opportunities and growing the managed lettings portfolio
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and prospective clients
• Supporting the day-to-day running and performance of the lettings department
• Monitoring the lettings pipeline, conversion rates and overall business development activity
• Ensuring excellent customer service, compliance and professional standards across the lettings operation

• Proven experience within residential lettings, ideally at Senior Negotiator, Valuer or Assistant Manager level
• Previous experience conducting rental valuations and winning new instructions
• Strong business development skills with a track record of generating new business
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building abilities
• Good understanding of the lettings process and current legislation
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results
• Organised, proactive and confident supporting and motivating colleagues
• Full UK driving licence and own car required
