Job summary

Royal Borough of Greenwich is recruiting a Lettings Officer for an 11-month secondment in the Access and Allocations Team in London. You will allocate council and housing association homes, ensuring fair lettings in line with housing legislation and council policy.

You will handle enquiries from residents, Members, MPs and managers, prioritise a busy workload, and work with housing providers to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, lettings, allocations, or homelessness services.
• Understanding of allocations and homelessness legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
