Job summary

Rathbones, a leading UK wealth manager, invites applications for a Lending Specialist based in Liverpool in a 12-month FTC. You’ll manage lending applications end-to-end, assess affordability and creditworthiness, and support high-net-worth clients and Investment Managers across lending, treasury and risk functions.

The role requires experience in lending environments, strong client service, and the ability to work autonomously within a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in lending, mortgages, private banking or wealth management lending.
• Ability to manage lending applications from enquiry to drawdown.
• Good understanding of FCA CONC and MCOB regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage lending applications from initial enquiry to drawdown.
• Assess affordability and creditworthiness for approvals.
• Provide pre-contractual advice to clients.
• Liaise with clients, investment managers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain records and MI reporting for lending activities.
• Ensure all loans comply with FCA requirements.
