Job summary

Haulfryn Ltd. at Finlake Holiday Park is seeking a Lifeguard-qualified Leisure Assistant to ensure safe, clean, and enjoyable pool and leisure facilities for guests.

The role offers an immediate start, with a real Living Wage at £12.60 per hour, and opportunities to work in a beautiful setting within a supportive team. You will guard indoor/outdoor pools, uphold health and safety standards, deliver engaging activities, and assist guests with enquiries, contributing to a welcoming guest

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends/evenings.
• Previous activity leadership experience is desirable.
• GB Archery Award or similar coaching qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard indoor and/or outdoor pools, ensuring guest safety and responding to emergencies.
• Follow health and safety standards at all times.
• Deliver engaging activity sessions for guests.
• Set up and pack away leisure equipment between activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across leisure facilities, including pool areas.
• Assist guests with general enquiries to ensure a positive experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Leisure Assistant – Lifeguard , you will:

• Lifeguard ourindoor and/or outdoor swimming pools , ensuring the safety of all guests andresponding to emergencies as required
• Ensure all healthand safety standards are followed and upheld at all times
• Deliver engagingactivity sessions , ensuring guests have a fun and safe experience
• Set up and packaway leisure equipment efficiently between activities
• Maintain cleanlinessand hygiene standards across the leisure facilities, including pool areas
• Support guestswith general enquiries and ensure they have a positive experience at our facilities
