A family-owned hotel chain in Scotland is seeking a Lifeguard to join their leisure department. Responsibilities include monitoring pool operations, lifeguarding, and assisting guests with various needs. Applicants must be strong swimmers and have experience in customer service. This opportunity offers flexible hours, competitive pay of £13.01 per hour, potential live-in accommodation, and various employee benefits. This role does not qualify for sponsorship, and candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

In the heart of Scotland, we’re set in a 900 acre estate in stunning Perthshire. A home from home, we’ve been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, 6 restaurants and over 60 onsite activities – including a spa, leisure center, horse-riding center and our famously exciting Action Glen. Our Leisure department looks after our two swimming pools, fitness studio and gym, putting, tennis, the adventure play area and lawn games.
Duties include monitoring Pool Plant Operations and daily pool tests, pool lifeguarding and supervising staff on shift, thorough cleaning of the leisure club, assisting guests with any requirements during their stay, general reception duties and monitoring of outdoor areas.
This position is offered on a flexible contract with hours available dependent on individual and business needs. General shift patterns will be 6.00-14.00, 09.30-17.30, 14.00-22.00.
Applicants should be strong swimmers and have experience working in a pool environment, and ideally a full Pool Lifeguard qualification, (STA and NPLQ accepted), or be willing to work toward one.
You’ll have experience in a customer service environment and take a pride in what you do and have high personal standards of cleanliness.
