Job summary

Vale Resort is seeking a Leisure Housekeeping Assistant for evening shifts under a casual contract. You will clean public areas and guest spaces, manage laundry, stock linens, and report any maintenance issues.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, following health and safety rules, and working overnight from 10pm to 6am. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending and lifting.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Vale Resort a Leisure Housekeeping Assistant Evenings.

Contract: Casual

Pay: Up to £12.85 per hour

About the Role:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitising public areas, and restrooms.
• Handle laundry duties, including folding, and restocking linens.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is properly stored.
• Adhere to hotel policies, health, and safety regulations.
• Working flexibly overnight between the hours of 10pm & 6am.

About you:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during the shift.
• Willingness to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service
