Delta Hotels by Marriott York is recruiting an experienced Leisure Club Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will lead the day-to-day operation of the leisure club, ensuring a safe, welcoming, high-quality guest experience for members and hotel guests.

You will oversee pool operations, water testing and health and safety, manage the leisure team, and work within budgets to drive membership sales and retention.

Qualifications

Leisure or fitness management experience preferred.
Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualifications beneficial.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Leisure Club Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term basis.

As Leisure Club Manager, you’ll take the lead in the day-to-day operation of our leisure club, ensuring our members and hotel guests receive a safe, welcoming and consistently high-quality experience. You’ll lead and support the leisure team, oversee pool operations and water testing, maintain high standards of health and safety, and ensure the club is clean, well maintained and running smoothly.

You’ll also play an important role in the commercial performance of the club, with responsibility for driving membership sales and retention and working within agreed budgets.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, delivering excellent customer service and taking ownership of a busy leisure operation. Previous leisure or fitness management experience would be beneficial, along with the relevant Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualifications.
