Valor Hospitality is seeking a Leisure Club Assistant to help deliver a high-quality leisure experience for guests. You will greet guests, keep facilities clean and safe, supervise pool and gym, assist with classes, and handle front desk tasks like bookings and inquiries.

You'll work as part of a friendly team, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and enjoy team discounts, meals on duty, and staff benefits as part of our commitment to wellbeing and career development.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a guest-facing role is required or beneficial.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with information about facilities and programmes.
• Ensure facilities are clean, safe and well-maintained.
• Monitor pool and gym areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with delivery of leisure and fitness programmes and classes.
• Handle front desk tasks including bookings, payments and inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about facilities, services, and programmes.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and areas are clean, safe, and in good working condition, following health and safety protocols.
• Pool and Gym Supervision: Monitor activity within the pool and gym areas to ensure a safe environment for all users.
• Programme Support: Assist with the delivery of leisure and fitness programmes, including group classes and one-on-one sessions.
• Administrative Duties: Carry out front desk operations, including bookings, payments, and membership inquiries.
• Health and Safety: Conduct regular checks and report any issues to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the leisure or hospitality industry.
• First Aid Certification: Valid First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
