Holiday Inn Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Leisure Club Assistant to deliver a high-quality leisure experience for guests. You will help keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming, and supervise pool and gym areas while supporting class delivery and front desk operations.

The role requires customer-service experience, a valid First Aid/CPR certification (preferred), strong communication and teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends; competitive rates and staff discounts accompany the

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within leisure or hospitality.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet and assist guests, provide information on facilities, services and programmes.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure equipment and areas are clean, safe, and follow health and safety protocols.
• Pool and Gym Supervision: Monitor activity to maintain a safe environment for all users.
• Programme Support: Assist with delivery of leisure and fitness programmes, group classes and sessions.
• Administrative Duties: Front desk tasks including bookings, payments and membership inquiries.
• Health and Safety: Conduct regular checks and report issues to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities
