Job summary

Leisure & Culture Dundee seeks a Leisure Attendant on a contracted basis, with evening and weekend shifts across multiple facilities including Olympia. You will be part of the Active Dundee Leisure Attendant team, delivering customer-focused services and upholding health & safety standards.

The role requires good time management, strong communication, and teamwork, with the ability to work under pressure and follow safety guidelines. Weekend work is required and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 National 4 passes Maths and English or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Good time management and ability to use own initiative with customer service skills.
• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively, following Health and Safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day responsibility for addressing operational issues, health & safety matters and customer-focused facilities/services/activities within Leisure Attendant roles.
• Maintain Daily Checklists and Safe Systems of Work as part of duties.
• Work variable hours including weekends.

You will be working as part of Active Dundee Leisure Attendant team on a contracted basis which will include evenings and weekend working. You may be required to work across Leisure & Culture Dundee facilities, including Olympia.

Requirements

You must hold 2 National 4 passes or equivalent in Maths and English or with relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibility for effectively addressing operational issues, health & safety matters and customer-focused facilities/services/activities, relating to Leisure Attendant roles/duties

The Individual

You will have good time management, ability to us own initiative with good customer service skills.

You must have good communication skills to work within a team and have the ability to work under pressure. You will be following Health and Safety guidelines, Safe Systems of Work and complete Daily Checklists as part of your duties.

You will be approachable, reliable and have the ability to motivate others. You will be required to work variable hours including weekends.
