Job summary

Village Hotels in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive team member to maintain sparkling changing rooms, pools, gym floors and public areas while engaging with members in a warm, welcoming way.

You will follow RLSS guidance for pool safety, handle cleaning tasks, and support guests with facility information, contributing to an enjoyable, safe hotel experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• The Deep Clean duties: cleaning showers, lockers and floors, keeping areas safe and stocked.
• Pool supervision: trained Pool Emergency Responder duties with RLSS training provided.
• Gym floor & public areas: sanitise equipment, follow COSHH, manage lost property, keep areas pristine.
• Member connection: be the friendly face, assist with facilities questions and create a welcoming vibe.

Job description

• The Deep Clean: Taking absolute pride in your designated changing room, ensuring the showers, lockers, and floors are squeaky clean, safe, and fully stocked with supplies.
• The Pool Supervision: Acting as a trained Pool Emergency Responder during scheduled pool hours. We follow strict RLSS guidance (we provide all the training), keeping our members safe and responding instantly to poolside alarms or emergencies.
• The Gym Floor & Public Areas: Getting out onto the floor to sanitise equipment, safely handle cleaning materials in line with COSHH regulations, manage lost property, and keep the public areas looking pristine.
• The Member Connection: Bringing your personality to work. You will be the friendly face of the club, offering advice on facilities, answering questions, and keeping the vibe incredibly welcoming.
