Job summary

Village Hotels in Swindon is seeking a proactive team member to maintain a pristine gym, pool, and changing-room environment while delivering friendly member service.

You will follow safety guidelines, receive training, and enjoy staff discounts on stays and F&B, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere across the Swindon property.

Responsibilities

• The Deep Clean: Taking pride in changing room cleanliness, safety, and stock of supplies.
• The Pool Supervision: Trained Pool Emergency Responder during pool hours, following RLSS guidance.
• The Gym Floor & Public Areas: Sanitise equipment, handle cleaning materials per COSHH, manage lost property, keep areas pristine.
• The Member Connection: Be the friendly face of the club, advising on facilities and welcoming members.

Job description

• The Deep Clean: Taking absolute pride in your designated changing room, ensuring the showers, lockers, and floors are squeaky clean, safe, and fully stocked with supplies.
• The Pool Supervision: Acting as a trained Pool Emergency Responder during scheduled pool hours. We follow strict RLSS guidance (we provide all the training), keeping our members safe and responding instantly to poolside alarms or emergencies.
• The Gym Floor & Public Areas: Getting out onto the floor to sanitise equipment, safely handle cleaning materials in line with COSHH regulations, manage lost property, and keep the public areas looking pristine.
• The Member Connection: Bringing your personality to work. You will be the friendly face of the club, offering advice on facilities, answering questions, and keeping the vibe incredibly welcoming.
