Regional Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join their Leicester team. You will manage a varied family law caseload, provide clear guidance to clients, and progress matters from instruction to resolution in a supportive, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales.
• Previous experience working within family law.
• Ability to manage own caseload with autonomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of family law matters.
• Advising clients on divorce and separation.
• Handling financial and property matters arising from relationship breakdown.
• Advising on arrangements for children.
• Dealing with applications relating to child residence and contact.
• Preparing and reviewing legal correspondence and documentation.
• Drafting applications, statements and other court documents.
• Negotiating settlements where appropriate.
• Representing clients in court hearings and other proceedings as required.
• Liaising with barristers, experts, mediators and other professional advisers.
• Attending client meetings and providing clear, practical legal advice.
• Progressing matters efficiently and keeping clients updated throughout.
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring files remain compliant.
• Managing deadlines and working effectively across multiple matters
