BB Water Solutions is seeking a Legionella Service Technician to join the water hygiene team. The role involves carrying out planned water hygiene work across commercial sites in Central Scotland and wider UK, with full training provided.

Ideal candidates will have a full UK driving licence and comfort working independently, with strong record-keeping and customer communication. Travel and progression opportunities are offered within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in water hygiene or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Scotland and wider UK.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Strong customer-facing communication.
• Plumbing experience and TMV knowledge advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned water hygiene and Legionella control across commercial sites.
• Monitor hot and cold water temperatures.
• Flush infrequently used outlets and descale showerheads.
• Inspect cold water storage tanks and disinfect tanks.
• Perform TMV inspections and servicing.
• Complete site records and report defects.
• Communicate professionally with customers and site representatives.

Location: Central Scotland, with travel throughout Scotland and the wider UK as required

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Employment: Full-time, permanent

BB Water Solutions is looking for a Legionella Service Technician to join our growing water hygiene team.

Previous water hygiene experience would be preferred, but we are also interested in people from facilities management, building services, mechanical maintenance or other PPM-based roles who are comfortable working independently across customer sites.

For the right person, full water hygiene training and ongoing development will be provided.

The Role

The position will involve carrying out planned water hygiene and Legionella control activities across commercial sites, including:

• Hot and cold water temperature monitoring
• Flushing of infrequently used outlets
• Showerhead cleaning and descaling
• Cold water storage tank inspections
• Tank cleaning and disinfection
• TMV inspections and servicing
• Basic plumbing and water hygiene remedial works
• Calorifier and water heater checks
• Completion of accurate service records and site documentation
• Reporting defects and remedial requirements
• Communicating professionally with customers and site representatives
